The story
Bears are coming back to the Pyrenees. The shepherds never left. Between them sits a century of pastoral law, subsidy, folklore and grief — and a question nobody in Europe has answered: who is the land for?
My work was the research floor beneath the film: century-old grazing records, oral testimony, rewilding data — the evidence a slow, patient documentary needs before it can afford to be quiet.
