The story

JR pastes faces the size of buildings onto the places that would rather not be looked at: a maximum-security prison yard in California, the favelas of Rio, the wall at the US–Mexico border. The film follows the making of those images and the communities who become them.

I worked the archive — a decade of contact sheets, location notes and shoot footage — and built it into material a film could actually use, then handled the French/English subtitling so the film's many voices arrived intact.
